Visiting a friend I perceived a folder of a German car producer on his table. The photograph of a zooming 4-weel-drive-car on dry gravel and sand looked futuristic and soon I fell into a day-dream, in which I watched myself on holydays at the banks of the Bodensee. 200 years from now I stood near the abandoned town of Meersburg overlooking the lake. The weather was nice and the sun beamed hot. As the air was clean some alpine peaks were just in front of my eyes. The only thing which was missing was the lake: Draughts sucked up most of the water and you could drive for miles in a SUV. No obstacles!<\/p>\n

Returning into the present, the folder still lay there and wow! It had convinced me that some cars are built for the future.<\/p>\n

Die Zukunft der Performance<\/p>\n

Bei einem Freund auf der Ablage fiel mein Blick auf den Prospekt eines deutschen Autoherstellers. Dort zeigte ein Foto einen Gel\u00e4ndewagen hinter einer lang gestreckten Staubwolke in der Ferne verschwinden. Dieses futuristische Foto lie\u00df mich umgehend in einen Tagtraum fallen, der mich an das Bodenseeufer versetzte. Etwa 200 Jahre weiter stand ich da und konnte ein paar Alpengipfel vor mir erkennen. So klar war die Luft unter der prallen Sonne. Was fehlte war der See. Nur ein paar Pf\u00fctzen hatten die D\u00fcrren unten im Tal von ihm liegen gelassen. Stattdessen luden Kies und Sand dazu ein, einem SUV die Sporen zu geben. Keine Hindernisse!<\/p>\n

Zur\u00fcck im Hier und Jetzt, lag der Prospekt immer noch vor mir. Wow! Er hatte mich davon \u00fcberzeugt, dass es Autos gibt, die f\u00fcr die Zukunft gebaut sind.<\/p>\n
