Januar 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Zeiten des Umbruchs und der damit verbundenen Unsicherheit sind Manifeste auch heute ein probates Mittel der Standortbestimmung und der Selbstvergewisserung. Schon die Avantgarden des 20. Jahrhunderts nutzten Manifeste, um die Richtung ihres Weges in die Zukunft zu weisen und konkrete Handlungsanweisungen sowie Hilfestellungen bei Entscheidungen zu geben. Nacheinander entrollte sie mehr als ein Dutzend B\u00e4nder mit aufgestickten Ratschl\u00e4gen, die die Performerin als Sprechgesang vortrug:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lasst euch nicht unter Druck setzen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holt euch Unterst\u00fctzung, damit ihr unterst\u00fctzen k\u00f6nnt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Etwas nicht zu verstehen, hei\u00dft das nicht, dass es keinen Sinn macht<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anerkenne deine Abh\u00e4ngigkeiten<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Es ist schon f\u00fcrsorglich, Zeuge zu sein<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>usw.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein zur Performance bereitgelegtes Poster enth\u00e4lt alle 15 Anweisungen und vertieft die darin enthaltenen Denkanst\u00f6\u00dfe mittels vernetzter Sprechblasen. Sie beziehen sich auf denkw\u00fcrdige Begegnungen mit Kolleginnen und Lehrerinnen, daraus gewonnene Erkenntnisse, Zitate und weiterf\u00fchrende Gedanken. Auch das Thema Geld wird thematisiert. Dar\u00fcber hinaus gibt es Kurz-Memoranden sowie die Quintessenz von Begegnungen, darunter der Ratschlag: &#8220; Don&#8217;t let scarcity rule you. It creates fear that fuels greed and competitiveness.&#8220; (Lass dich nicht von der Knappheit beherrschen. Schuhe haben in der Moderne des\u00f6fteren eine Rolle gespielt. Ein mit N\u00e4geln unter den Sohlen verst\u00e4rktes Paar Arbeitsschuhe hat van Gogh mehr als einmal portr\u00e4tiert. Es wurde nicht nur deshalb als markantes Beispiel wahrgenommen, weil sein kurzes Leben lang st\u00e4ndig in Bewegung war. W\u00e4hrend der Postmoderne wurden Sportschuhe zu Kultgegenst\u00e4nden. Sie erz\u00e4hlen viel \u00fcber die Unrast von Menschen, die sich unter dem Druck neuer Anforderungen anpassen. Je nach Marke, Zustand und Witterung manifestieren sie den sozialen Status und individuelle Haltungen zu Globalisierung, Selbstoptimierung und Kommerzialisierung. Sie signalisieren Nonkonformismus, Protest oder Irrationalit\u00e4t. <br>\u00a9 Johannes Lothar Schr\u00f6der<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">ADVICE FROM A SHOE<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Let me tell you About this Shoe <\/em>from the project <em>Ongoing Manifesto of Radical Dependency<\/em> by Lili Huston-Herterich at the Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Aktuelle Kunst in Bremen on January 23, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In times of upheaval and the associated uncertainty, manifestos are still an effective means of determining one&#8217;s position and self-assurance. Even the avant-gardes of the 20th century used manifestos to point the direction of their path into the future and to provide concrete instructions for action and assistance in making decisions. In this respect, individual artists or groups of artists form a bulwark against uncertainty, disinformation and the devaluation of convictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remarkable was the eponymous object of the performance of the manifesto, from which Lili Huston &#8211; Herterich let a bundle of advice grow out, a found shoe. They refer to memorable encounters with colleagues and teachers, insights gained from them, quotes and further thoughts. The topic of money is also addressed. In addition, there are short memoranda as well as the quintessence of encounters, including the advice: &#8222;Don&#8217;t let scarcity rule you. It creates fear that fuels greed and competitiveness.&#8220; The shoe on which the performance focussed, is a strong symbol of movement and stands for people who walk their path in life and change. Shoes have often played a role in modernity. Van Gogh portrayed a pair of work shoes, reinforced with nails under the soles, more than once. It was perceived as a striking example not only because his short life was constantly in motion. During postmodernism, sports shoes became cult objects. They tell a lot about the restlessness of people who adapt under the pressure of new demands. Depending on the brand, condition and weather, they manifest social status and individual attitudes towards globalisation, self-optimisation and commercialisation.
